Zen monk and shakuhachi player, Edjun Iechika, will perform along with others in concert focused on meditation pieces honkyoku on 17.08.'09, in New Town town-hall, Prague.

Haruko Watanabe, a koto player performing both traditional and contemporary music, holder of the dai shihan (grand master) licence, will take part in the contemporary music concert which will be part of the Prague Shakuhachi Summer School '09. She will also aid during the sankyoku classes.

19.05.'09 in Miyabi, Navrátilova 10, Praha 1, will take place a regular meeting of shakuhachi players. This time it will be hosted by Marek Matvija. Common playing will start 17:30 and will continue until seven o'clock. Everyone is welcome, free entry.
