This very special evening will feature multiple genres of contemporary music. The concert highlight will be an appearance by the great shakuhachi master, Sakai Shodo, as well as a sound-art performance, Attracted by Light by Slavek Kwi (Artificial Memory Trace) and the premiere performance of Sansara, Samadhi and Sangha, a triptych chamber composition by Vlastislav Matoušek. Specially invited musicians Steve Cohn, George Cremaschi and Liz Allbee, will collaborate in an improvisation session. Finally, the concert will conclude with John Cage's Variations no.1 for chamber ensemble.

Live performance intervention by Slavek Kwi within pre-recorded 4-channel sound-environment: stroboscopic lights used as sound-sources with electromagnetic detectors, bubbling machine and objects manipulated underwater picked-up by hydrophone, musical sound-flags and talking drum.
