That is why we have chosen to make a selection of available types of accommodation in the vicinity of the festival's venue, the New Town town hall. The list of hotels and hostels includes contacts, references and distance from the venue. Note that this is a mere selection not the entire list of suitable places to stay.

Prague Shakuhachi Summer School has developed over the past two years into an important European shakuhachi event that approaches the instrument from many different perspectives, from the theoretical to the practical, from the traditional to the contemporary. Creative Workshop 10.-14.08'09

Presentation of the creative workshop for new media artists and shakuhachi players. It is a unique European project aim of which is to offer the players and the artists space for communication and learning the principals of the other media. Everyone is welcome to apply.

Akikazu Nakamura in Warsaw

On February 11, Akikazu Nakamura will perform in Polish National Opera. Nakamura is renowned for unusual breath techniques and specific colour of tone. Concert is co-produced by Japanese Embassy in Poland. More info here.
